With it's opening, the InterContinental Resort and Thalasso Spa becomes the first resort in French Polynesia to feature only overwater accommodations offering 80 luxurious overwater villas that offer impressive views with the most modern conveniences. Each luxury villa features separate bedroom with king size bed, walk in dressing room, separate shower and bathtub with vanity and dual sinks, living room, glass bottom coffee table, 2 flat screen televisions, CD & DVD player, tea/coffee/espresso facilities, mini-bar, internet access, and in room safe.

Emerald Overwater Villas - Each Emerald Overwater Villas features a magnificent view over the beach and the motu.

Sapphire Overwater Villas - Located in the middle of the pontoon, each Sapphire Overwater Villa offers a remarkable view over the lagoon and the island of Bora Bora.

Diamond Overwater Villas - Located at the end of each pontoon, each Diamond Overwater Villa offers the prized view of Mount Otemanu and the surrounding lagoon, as well as, the utmost in privacy.


Bars, Restaurants and Amenities
The hotel Bora Bora features 2 restaurants and 2 bars.
There are two tennis courts, boutiques and general store.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the Matira Terrace Restaurant, which overlooks the lagoon. Lunch and refreshments can be taken at the Pofai Beach Bar. A light menu and tropical refreshments are available in the Matira Terrace Bar, with its open-air, sunset views of the lagoon.
The Matira Bar's tables are built from monkey-pod trees felled during the occasional South Pacific storm; the roof is of pandanus thatching. Afternoon tea is available from Hotel Bora Bora's Pofai Beach Bar.
Polynesian cultural entertainment highlights Hotel Bora Bora's weekly beach barbecue. Another weekly resort feature is the soiree flambée, which begins with sunset cocktails and canapés at the Pofai Beach Bar and traditional Polynesian singing. A flambé dinner follows in the Matira Restaurant.

Two tennis courts, lit for night play, are located on the resort. Tennis rackets and balls are complimentary.
